Now in our 10th year, Rascals is the largest privately run out of school club in the Arun area. Owned and managed by Tim and Emma Jackson, who started Rascals in July 2005.
Our venue is the former East Preston Youth Centre building, purpose built in 1973 but now leased to Rascals from WSCC. The building consists of 2 floors. The first floor offers a large TV lounge, a library and a small IT suite. There is also an accessible lift which allows both adults and children to use every aspect of the upper floor.
The ground floor contains the main room with kitchen and toilet facilities.
Children have the facility of a Breakfast Club, an After School Club and a Holiday Play Scheme all under one roof in a secure building within the grounds of East Preston Junior Infant and East Preston Junior school.
The outside playing area is vast, and with the permission of both schools, children are able to use certain areas of the school field, including the junior school play trail.
